You're right, sort of.
I can weed out pretty much what doesn't apply to me just by reading the
subject line. One answer could be to suggest to everyone that they
effectively use the subject line. It is sorely under used and comments are
too brief for the amount of room available with most news readers. (On mine
it's about 70 characters wide!) Most people use subject lines of under 30
chars.
Come on folks, lets get as descriptive as our email readers will allow.
i.e. "Problems with a Bernoulli" is perfect. If I don't have a Bernie or
care of nothing but Lightwave stuff, I'll ignore it.
